This is the grafik for the OKMALUMKOOLKAT'S KOOLHUNTING KLUB'S second collezioni. I don't know how I got to the final grafik. It started with an old Falcon artwork I had made, then it became two Falcons flying in opposite directions then it reminded me of a mask. I started googling masks and nothing came off that but then the next element was the calabash and that took it back into a mask and then turned the mask into a bull with flying falcons for eyes. The crown had to be there to tie it all together and emphasize on the importance of the bull with flying falcons for eyes. In fact, you need to respect the bull with flying falcons for eyes. This is a mythological creature of some sort, it also could be heavenly. Hope your enterpretations aren't as filled with mystery and wonder as mine.
Basically, there's no deep background story behind this grafik, it came about in exactly the same fashion as the first grafik. I let the Holy Oxygen flex through me and stuff comes out. I generally like creating mythological visuals so it's a win win. The grafik embroidery also sits nice on the new range of denim waistcoats. I also decided to shorten the name to OKMKKHK ( Yea, I know, I still haven't been able to memorize it myself... )
Will hopefully put up the shoot on Thursday night. Hope you smaak them. It'll also be an honour to see you at the pop-up store launch on Friday, you do not know how much that'll mean to me. Oh, you don't? It''ll mean a lot.
