On Friday the 15th of October, Shelflife will be hosting the official launch of the Puma Suede in South Africa! The Suede made its first appearance in 1968 at the Mexico Olympics, and has grown from strength to strength ever since. Its roots lie deep in the heritage of street and hiphop culture ever since it was adopted by B-boys in the mid 70’s. In South Africa the Suede played a big part in the mid 80’s in the skate scene being the most hard wearing flat bottom sneaker.
